HYS is a proud member of the League of American Orchestras.
The League of American Orchestras, founded in 1942, is celebrating 75 years as the only national organization dedicated to advancing the orchestral experience for all.
We are a member of the League’s Youth Orchestra Division, participate in its annual Orchestras Feeding America food drive, attend its Mid-Winter Managers’ Meetings and National Conferences.
Our Executive Director, Randy Wong, was a member of the 2016-2017 class of the League’s Emerging Leaders Program. Randy proudly serves as a board member for the Youth Orchestra Division, as a member of its Executive Committee and chair of its Professional Development committee.
